Bill, would you be able to give us a timeline of when you think our RFA contracts will be tackled? Also, is Provorov's camp and Fletcher in talks as we speak since Provy's aim was to play in the World Championships as long as he got a new contract? |

So on Philly.com they bring it up.
To Nashville: Voracek and Hagg
To Philadelphia: Subban
So would you do it? I think it works well and really doesn't change the cap structure for the Flyers. they can still look to add a 2nd line center and maybe look for a UFA winger. |

How we are replacing Jake's points? I don't have the confidence in our forward group to makeup the gap unless we sign a big name like Panarin. We essentially become Nashville if we make this trade, great D (not as good as there's either) but potentially run into serious scoring droughts. |

I'd look at Brock Nelson in free agency to maybe fill that 2nd line center role. i would also explore Dzingle, whose value might be down after a rough playoff, or maybe even a guy like Zuccarello who can bring some leadership to a youngish team.
It's not just about replacing Voracek. Maybe i give up less goals. Maybe Gostisbehere bounces back. Subban is a norris level defender who can bring some offense.

I think the face value of this trade out weighs the actual value. Jake has his flaws but his production is not going be replaced very easily and I believe Subban has been dealing with back injuries. Also, I believe Nashville is looking to trade Subban for cap relief so they can sign Josi next year, so don't know that Jake would be a good target for them. |

I like Brock Nelson as well. I'm not on board with signing too many guys this offseason though, I'd like to see Nelson or Panarin but that's it. I still think we don't have a clear picture of what some of our in-house options are and I'd like to see them play. Seeing how this playoffs went, there's no reason with some structure and guys getting back to normal levels of play we can't win a round or two. |

Fletcher has had conversations with all RFAs. He said that he wasn't particularly optimistic of getting any done before July but expects all to get done this offseason. |

Not many teams will be able to take on 9 million cap hit. Flyers can by moving out Voracek's 8.25.
They will have plenty to sign Josi. When his deal is up Granlund and Smith come off the books. They will also have Fabbro on ELC. And maybe they can move Turris deal out.

I wouldn't mind though signing a winger like Zuccarello depending on price to play with Patrick. I think that would be something positive to maybe help his development.
I do think Farabee could be close to making it out of camp. Feel like his game could help on the 3rd line and maybe do some PK work. |

Zucc for sure seems to be a guy players like, and he's a damn good player too. Small guy that plays big, looks like he's well liked in Dallas and is contributing. |

No thanks in anyway.
You are losing a ton of points from a team that already sucks offensively. |

Don’t see Nashville having any interest in Hägg
I move Jake for him. |

I thought Zucc was a lock to get re-signed in Dallas?
Nelson's probably staying too, I'd think.
Dzingel is a pass. A good team wouldn't have him in the top-six. |

In a heartbeat. I would sign a UFA to replace some of the production, and Ghost becomes expendable if you have Subban so he can be used to get another offensive player.
Voracek, Hagg to NAS
Subban to PHI
Ghost, 2nd to EDM
RNH to PHI
sign Pavelski.
Giroux-Couturier-Konecny
JVR-RNH-Pavelski
Lindblom-Patrick-Frost/Farabee/Ratcliff
Raffl-Laughton-Hartman
Provorov-Subban
Gudas-Sanheim

For all the people that want RNH for Ghost deal, would they also consider a T.Johnson for Ghost deal? |

also Subban stinks in his own end. just loses focus too often. i need a guy i can put out there up a goal w a minute left and Subban is without a doubt not that guy.
The only way it makes sense is if we are moving ghost and bringing in another guy who cay play d in his own end. Not to mention Haag can do that so we kinda would need two of those guys..

Prov and Sanheim are your last-minute/protect-the-lead pair for next season.
Eventually Myers will be the guy. Maybe Morin.
Ghost is one of the best down-a-goal/sudden-death dmen in the league.
The blueline is fine, I wish they wouldn't (frank) with it. Just give it time. |

Look at how devastated the Islanders were when they "lost" the production of Tavares. Lets not forget Barzal's production dropped from the previous year as well. They never even signed another player where a fan could add up all the stats of players to see if they add up to the stats of the previous year....stupid Islanders.
